Aedes aegypti (Diptera: Culicidae) is an arbovirus vector responsible for yellow fever in central and south America and in west Africa. It is also the vector for dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF), endemic to south-east Asia, the Pacific Islands, Africa and the Americasen_US
