Randomised controlled trials for Ebola: practical and ethical issues

This crisis is so acute, WHO declared, that it is ethical to off er interventions with potential benefi ts but unknown effi cacy and side-eff ects, though every eff ort should be made to evaluate benefi ts and risks and share all data generated.
